I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been in practice since 2004, working with both individuals and couples. I hold an M.A. in Counseling from Covenant Seminary and an M.F.A. in Poetry from the University of Missouri–St. Louis—two degrees that reflect my belief in the healing power of both insight and creativity.
Since 2017, I’ve served as an Adjunct Professor at Washington University’s Brown School of Social Work, and I also provide licensure supervision and consultation to other counseling professionals. Over the years, I’ve led trainings on mental health first aid, suicide prevention, trauma and recovery, and Motivational Interviewing. I’m a member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Poetry Therapy.
